CAR BACKFIRES HORRIBLY.....LOSES ALL POWER
my guess is that its something to do with the turbo since it happens as when primary kicks in..
I don't quite understand how OMP has to do with loosing power. Unless its dumping crap load of oil, which I think you will see oil burning behind.
Also, tell us what kind of boost you see? And does your secondary kick in??

Then when i tried to drive it home it would lose all power around 2500-3000rpm and if i tried to continue accelleration it would backfire excessively like it has a limiter set at that rpm range.
Believe me, it's in limp mode, and only a few things can cause this, the OMP being a favourite one... there's nothing wrong with your turbo's or anything else, but it's easy to see how it can appear to be things like turbo's, fuel supply, etc...

I thought PFC you don't have to worry about OMP and running in limp mode?
