i always used "grease Lighting" degreaser spray to clean it off of my former silver FD...
that ***** strong, i dont think its too safe to use on a urethane bumper (fd bumpers are urethane right?) especially not when youre trying to keep the paint perfect, like jio is.

i have the N1 and i have noticed a large difference in build up on the bumper if i have the resonator in or not. theory is that at idle the exhaust has a much faster muzzle velocity than without so it does not deposit on the bumper as much... gonna try the wax thing i have a silver car and it suks

never discolored the back of mine.... spray it on a rag, wipe the bumper a few times... then wash off with water. Always worked fine for me
