rear looks orange from the carbon and fuel....

cleaned up the right corner to show the difference in color...

this is only after a trip to long island...

those tips are polished underneath..

theres buildup underneath the rear spoiler as well...

way to kill the enviornment !!!!! ha ha ha seriously though, I've been trying to figure a way to keep that from killing the paint

I've seen metal plates put over that area for that reason.

great concentration of wax is placed on there when she gets coated....

this fd will never ever see a plate on there...

btw.. the buildup cant be just wiped off.. requires a degreaser...

shes runnin fairly rich considerin shes set for 12psi the entire trip...

For a long trip I wonder if the old drag racers trick of putting wax and leaving it on there would help? Then wipe it off when you get home or where you got to go, re-applying it when you leave again.



or if angle cut tips would help

I use a 1/4 degreaser and 3/4 water in s little spray bottle and then it wipes off clean. Above my exhaust looks just as good as the rest of the white paint after it is cleaned. Too bad it doesn't last...
