Braided Vacuum Lines?
#1
My question is...would it be a good idea to use steel braided vacuum hoses instead of silicone and such. I have heard that they use a stronger rubber that is also nylon wrapped then steel braided. Any suggestions. I am currently running stock sequential twins...but thinking about going non-seq if I do this since it would be a f*ing hard *** job for sequential.
Thanks,
Sean

I think that is overkill. It CAN be done I'd imagine, but I don't see any real benefits.
I'm using braided for my wastegate lines... but that's just because I had extra, and it's ULTRA hot down there.

I think I am going to do it...I was going to spend $118 on the silicone hose kit anyways. now for attachment...I was thinking I could get fittings...small enough to self-tap themselves onto any metal nipples and I suppose I could do it for the plastic ones as well...plus use teflon tape or whatever to ensure a good seal.

And of course, like Tyson said...it would be ultrapimp.
