thinkin about repaintin the fds..

unsure as to whether or not to remove the rough bottom strip or leave it alone..

if you are talking about the rock guard along the lower sides... i removed mine and it was a PITA... granted, i did it with sandpaper. Aircraft stripper might take it right the hell off. I think it looks better without it though.

Leave it, the accumulated rock chips will make you want to slit your wrists. Maybe knock it down a little, or remove it and replace the coating so it doesn't look like a 3rd grader with a spaztic condiion applied it.
