Hey guys....i am having some boost problems and i figured i would inquire about some possible solutions. My boost is cuting out at higher rpm's. In first gear at about 6500 rpm's the car completely boggs down and the boost dies off and it almost sounds like a backfiring sound from the exhaust. The boost gauge is showing a normal boost pattern at the change over and its not spiking. In second gear the same thing happens except it at a lower rpm and it continues to rev but there is just no boost. I have looked at all the vacuum lines to make sure none of the lines are kinked or off. Everything looks to be ok. I have no clue what is going on and this problem just came out of nowhere. Oh yeah and i am still on the stock sequential setup. Any input would be helpful...

thanks

ok...i actually think this is more of a fuel problem than a boost problem now....tonight i tried to redline the cara couple times in first. It pulled fine and boost was perfect except around 7k the car would lose power and backfire a lot. Any ideas?

i have that exact same problem right now... new ported engine, new 99 efini turbo's (sequential), new hks plugs, new plug wires, new highflow fuelpump, new fuel filter and still happening. tried to tune it out with the power fc but no luck so i bought a GReddy profec b spec 2 boost controller. havent installed it yet but we'll see afterwards...
