Was planning picking up an SBCid along with running a Power FC, but I have a good friend who was telling me something about alot of people experiencing boost creep at atltitude (Colorado minimum 5000ft above sea level). He said I'd pry be better be off with a manual BC.

Hes a bit of a naysayer when it comes to the parts I like, but he also built a T78 FD from the ground up on his own. So its not like hes ignorant on the subject.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

It's been my general experience that manual boost controllers are less likely to allow creep than a electronic one. That's just from the ones I have seen or used. Namely the ProfecB. I did not habe much luck with that. I' ve been using turbo smart manual controlers for a couple of years now and I still like it. It's simple and it works well.

Meh, you know I had a ProfecB SpecII and I never had boost creep once I set the gain properly, even with a full intake and full 3" exhaust.
