i will have to disagree that the HKS downpipe is restrictive.

i run one on my car and think that is flows very well

i run a stock cat and a Blitz Nur spec Cat back

i think this system runs fine and is not resrictive.

how did you prove the hks downpipe to be restrictive

its just a pipe.

I believe that the HKS Hiper Racing Exhaust is the highest flowing exhaust on the market with a 4 inch pipe all the way from the downpipe, so it it a midpipe and catback in one. It is probably one of the loudest exhausts on the market though but has the highest flow.

take it off and put another brand on and see what you think. You probably would not find it restrictive because it is all you are use to. Think of it like this [sarcasm]if all you had ever driven was a 79 ford ltd then you may not know that a c5 vette is any faster. [/sarcasm]

i dont think thats true, the RB dual tip is relatively quiet, yet considered one of the best.

nothing is wrong with the HKS downpipe , and i have been in another rx-7 with a a m2 downpipe(PLAY NICE. NO NEED FOR NAME CALLING HERE...JSPEC). and i cannot tell a difference we both have the same mods but hs is running m2 stuff. And you said you could prove that the HKS is restrictive. so besides your "i can fell the difference" bull **** i want prof. unless there is like a 6 horsepower difference in the pipes you would not be able to fell it anyway.
