Thanks for all the input,so far it sounds like a presilenced mid pipe with a racing beat dual tip(the dual tip is a gorgeous looking system).Has anyone used the gotham racing presilenced mid or thier cat back?

Those are not quiet exhausts.

just go with the RB dual tip exhaust. If you get pulled over for "aftermarket" exhaust on that one, you can claim its factory, off of the Mazdaspeed Protege.

I do not know much about exhaust but I bought a barely used Peter Farrell Supercars stainless system for Hmm, I think I paid $300.00, it looks like it could be stock if you did not know what you were looking at, like most cops.

It sounds great to me and is not loud, it passed the girlfriend test, she gets anoid easy by crap that hums and vibrates the entire car for no reason.

I do not know if others love it but I have not one complaint, it was even easier to install than a factory exhaust I bought a few years back

Oyea, not a lot of black build up all over the back of the car like some larger diameter pipes, and it just passed emissions

If you want quiet, stay away from the Greddy Evolution exhaust. I've got that with a MP and DP and the ****** is louder than hell. Hell, but not a Harley Davidson. Why do cops pull over import drivers and not hog riders for noise? One time I was getting gas and a Harley drove up, so GD loud that it hurt the baby's ears, she was covering them and crying...and no ticket for that bastard?

Motorcycles are exempt from "loud muffler" laws in many (all?) areas. Motorcycle lobbyists have been successful in excluding them under the guise of safety. I think we need a good lobby for drivers of small sports cars in these days of giant SUVs. Loud pipes might save our lives, too!

racing beat, it sounds awsome when you open it up but it's nice and suttle at idle. i have it and i love it... looks sweet to. almost looks like stock exhaust with the twin tips, not like those coffee can mufflers...
