So the search engine comes up with nothing on this subject,In your guys experience what is the best flowing lowest decibel exhaust with the cats removed. This can include resonated mid pipes, custom exhaust, or just combinations that you prefer. The problem is that the cops up here will single you out if you have the high pitched ricey sound but a low note is not as noticable to them. You can practically run a v8 with open headers and not get noticed. So before I make a purchase I want opinions of people who have used systems and liked or not liked them. All opinions are welcome.

Seems like there are about as many opinions on this as there are systems. But I'll give you my .02....

Currently I've got the GREDDY SP cat-back with a BONEZ Hi-Flo cat. Materials and contruction is very good and I LOVE the sound at idle and during acceleration. It's about as low tone as I've heard. Definitely not ricey. The down side is two-fold. It's got a nasty "drone" at highway cruising speed and visually it's definitely non-stock looking with that big-*** single tip.

I've added wrapping to my DP and some rubberized undercoat in the spare tire well and hatch floor which helped the drone quite a bit, but didn't eliminate it.

I've heard the RACING BEAT dual-tip and if I had the $$, I personally would go with that. Although I don't "think" it flows quite as well as my SP, and it doesn't sound as low and mean, it still sounds pretty good and looks very stock. Performance loss is probably marginal if at all. Plus, the materials and contruction look top notch too.

I'd say the racing beat is your best bet. I have a full 3" with the HKS Carbon-ti and it's louder than hell. Sure sounds sexy when it's opened up though! It was voted the sexiest engine sound at a car show last summer. Oh, and for the record I've never heard a GReddy exhaust note that I liked.

quietest FD exhaust made to the best of my knowledge is the OLD Knightpsorts Dual exhaust. 2 presilencers, and 2 canister mufflers plumbed into the dual piping. I have one..... VERY quiet. but VERY heavy.

the Racing beat twin tip is still my favorite though.

Yeah, that post deserves to be deleted. He was asking what a good QUIET/helpful catback system would be.. Not what the most expensive, noisiest piece of crap muffler on the market is.

The Racing Beat Dual get's great reviews with those who want a lower, pure sound without being obnoxious and simply "loud". The finish looks great, the dual pipe's look very "professional" vs. ricey.

I have an M2 Dual exhaust, which I am told is comparable. Similiar finish and sound. I can cruise @ 60mph and still talk to my friend in the car, it sounds great at idle and has a "non-weedwacker" scream up top.

I've seen/heard plenty of single (HUGE) tip exhausts on the FD and many are just too much for me.

Try M2 or RB Dual's

If you want quiet, stay away from the Greddy Evolution exhaust. I've got that with a MP and DP and the ****** is louder than hell. Hell, but not a Harley Davidson. Why do cops pull over import drivers and not hog riders for noise? One time I was getting gas and a Harley drove up, so GD loud that it hurt the baby's ears, she was covering them and crying...and no ticket for that bastard?
