Automatic W/ Manual Mode?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a used RX-7 and found a '93. The owner says it has an automatic transmission w/ manual mode. What is this, and is it reliable??? I've looked on the web and couldnt find any info on this.

Don't get an automatic. You'll be unhappy with it.

i got an automatic and im unhappy. but believe it or not automatics can whip *** now imagine a manual lol

i think he meant that its an automatic with a sport mode (overdrive)...... and dont get automatic......i agree with everyone here......... you will always be wanting a manual tranny

I like my automatic.... Wouldnt have it any other way.... Then again im building a single purpose streetable drag car outta mine..........Just think about it you put it in gear and drive how nice is that..........
