I installed my apexi intake today. It's just like power intake but it's from Apexi intercooler kit. So the kit comes with metal piping. After I installed it, every time i accelerate i hear some kind of low rumble. It's not air suction it's just some kind of weird sound. Did any of you with this intake, had problem like this.

Also, now my HKS BOV, doesn't sound as loud as she did when i had my stock air box. It sounds low even under wot. I connected all the hoses to the piping except the one for hks bov. I only plugged the end on the pipe.

Please reply what you guys think.

Thanks

the low rumbling sound is from the air pump. its on under 3500 rpm. you can hear it get quiet after that. you cant do anything about it except to remove the airpump. you dont hear it when you have your stock airbox because of all the in the box used to quiet the intake.

Is there a vacuum hose going to the BOV?

The bov was always connected the same. I never touched it when i was installing this kit. I only needed to plug one of the small pipes coming from the intake that was for the bov. Everything else stayed the same.

I was thinking that maybe it has something to do with intake or something.
