Apexi Power Intake

I recently purchased a Apexi power intake. When i finally went to install it the adapter for it was round and the airflow meter for my 1987 GS is rectangular shaped. Has anybody run in to this problem? 
Any help would be great!

Ummm....yeah. You have an adaptor for an S5. I dont think they make an adaptor for the Apexi for an S4 car. You most likely will need to get another intake.

yeah if u got a s4 the K&N intake has brackets that fit it but u need the K&N intake. APex only makes the intake for the s5 not the s4 that sucks. The K&N you have to put vertically its a oval shape not round heres a pic

I had the same Problem and I ddn't want to send it back so I got a hks intake adaptor sanded it down and jb welded the power intake adapter to the hks one. This was way back then, if you want to try this you can get a cheap adapter from ebay.
