Alternater

They are hard to find due to how few cars are on the road. I doubt a local parts store will have one. You can allways send yours out to a rebuilder, but honestly I would just get a quality rebuilt unit from the dealer. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda in VA. he gives us guys a discount

This guy hasn't posted in a while, but it's still about $185 shipped. If you could get one from a local dealer for $200, that's the way I'd go.

Mine is working like a charm! Only 65 for the rebuild.

mazdaspeed motorsports wants like 100 something with 70 dollar core charge for a mazda rebuilt unit, rebuilt by mitshubishi electronics.
I picked on up there for my FC and ate the core charge since I'm from Canada, and shipping another alternator which I don't ahve wasn't going to happen.
