As y'all know 3rd get alternators are expensive... anyone know of a cheaper place to by them from? dealer's 200.00 bucks. thx i'm in Miami,Fl btw

They are hard to find due to how few cars are on the road. I doubt a local parts store will have one. You can allways send yours out to a rebuilder, but honestly I would just get a quality rebuilt unit from the dealer. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda in VA. he gives us guys a discount https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

$200.00 ain't too bad for an alternator. Honestly, I haven't looked into it for the FD yet, but my girls S14 was $325.

This guy hasn't posted in a while, but it's still about $185 shipped. If you could get one from a local dealer for $200, that's the way I'd go. |

Mine is working like a charm! Only 65 for the rebuild. |
mazdaspeed motorsports wants like 100 something with 70 dollar core charge for a mazda rebuilt unit, rebuilt by mitshubishi electronics.
I picked on up there for my FC and ate the core charge since I'm from Canada, and shipping another alternator which I don't ahve wasn't going to happen. |
Thx for the help guys...i'll try to get it Rebuilt if not then i found a place that'll sell it for 150. I havent posted in Awhile but now i'm back.
