I recently had a person repair my AC evaporator and my car runs horribly now, when the ac is on the car will shake pretty badly, like you can feel it in the steering wheel and through out the entire car. He claimed he put and American made AC evaporator in the car and I'm not sure if putting in the wrong evaporator would do anything. Any comments?

it sounds more like an electrical problem. When the a/c is turned on it creates more load on the engine, the ecu compensates for this by raising the idle. to change the evaporator, you have to rip the dash apart, ect. it's most likly that he forgot to reconnect something

as far as the evaporator, it does'nt matter where it was made, it's just a little radiator basically
