Ok so about a month ago I bought an imported fd from Japan. Last night I notice that the oil is a little low, so this morning I head down to partsource and get some Castrol GTX 5w-30, and top up the oil. Now my fricken exhaust is burning blue as ever in a way it never did before. What did I do, and what is the best plan. I was thinking of just completely changing the oil now because I may have mixed the synthetic 5w-30 with whatever was in there (not sure). Anyway some opinions would be helpful, thanks.

Drain and start over. I wouldn't use Synthetic in a rotary if I was you.

Newer synthetics burn just fine, you can use any synthetic you like if you're premixing.

yea synth. is fine in a rotary.

Your problem sounds like a possible internal engine oil leak, oil was low so not much oil was going into engine and burning, topped it off and now there's oil there to leak into the motor thus the smoke.
