i have a tuning question. do i need to get my car tuned if i put an apexi intake, straight midpipe, n1 catback, koyo radiater, and underdrive pulley kit. would like any help i can get. also i wondered if anyone has looked at or bought one of those smic's off ebay for 225 bucks

 

1. if there are any other mods on the car... you'll be getting near the limit on running safely on stock maps and lack of boost control. I ran with a very similar set-up for years with no problems... your results may vary however.



2. no idea... have never seen teh SMIC that you are referring toe

 

With a midpipe alone you need to keep an eye out for boost creep. If you can afford it i'd pick up a PFC or something. Its cheaper than a new motor.

those SMIC kits on ebay by ssautochrome are pretty decent I'm prob picking one up myself. My friend runs one on his car and it works great, just have to have the skills to fab up a really good IC air dam, let me know if you need one made I can help you out getting one
