have none of yall heard the theory of the fuel pump wiring and its realiton to the 3k hesitation.....it was on the other site....across teh *street*?
Yeah, I've heard of that. Quite frankly... I can live with the occasional 3K hesitation. It only happens in light throttle. So I just go mid throttle. No problemo!

i have noticed that too. it only really reveals itself when the car is still not to the *proper* running temp. i have noticed too, that it is more exaggerated under light throttle like you said, and is almost charachteristic, in my case, of a throttle that wants to get hung.....like something was holding the car back...

Yeah... my car was starting to suffer from it once in a while. It can happen in any gear under very light throttle but usually only occures in 2nd or 3rd.

I tried upgrading my grounds... no luck... hmmm.... guess I'll just have to get that fuel computer... but then I'll need the Racing Beat exhaust... and the high flow cat... and the M2 intake and intercooler... and.... damn... I'm broke again already.

do you think something like say, a dirty fuel filter or bad plugs could help that hesitaion a little bit? Could that make it just a bit more "so" so to speak? I mean if the fuel filter is dirty and the plugs could use a replacement, could the 3k hesitation be enhanced because of that?

I hope my new PFC eliminates the 3K hesitation. Mines not all that bad, but I notice it.

I replaced the plugs and fuel filter on my car and noticed no difference in the 3k hesitation.

I have heard that the more you modify, the more pronounced the hesitation gets. I have also heard that replacing the ECU with a good quality aftermarket unit is the only 100%, sure fire method to fix the problem in every case.

My hesitation started only after I had 20K on the car. I beefed up my ground ing wires and it disappeared, but now I have to keep all the contact points clean otherwise it comes back.
