I never had this problem on my 93 Base, but seem to be having it every now and then with my 93 R-1. I tried doing a quick search for this topic and turned up nothing. Can someone tell me an easy fix for this problem?? Thanks!

Well, I don't know if there really is a fix... But from what I hear..
Try beefing up the engine grounds. They say that works. |
The only sure fire way I know to elminate the 3k hesitaion problem is to relpace the ECU with a stand anlone like the Haltec or Tec III
. Or install the Apexi power FC. Improving on grounds will not eliminate it. |
grounding will not eliminate it....i can attest to that. i have about 20' of 8 guage wire that i added to and replaced many weak link grounds, and i still get it. however, through this winter, and me driving the fd every day, i have noticed it more than ever. it seems like it is more exaggerated when the car is still warming up, and has not *fully* come to temp.....[NO I AM NOT GETTING ON IT WHILE COLD] however, mine seems to be more apparent between 3200 and 4k...i just depends. oh, an di normally feel it in 2nd and 3rd gear....

humm.. guess i have to slap some pfc in there https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

that is how i am going to eliminate it.......you'd think that i would have one by now......well.......i have no excuse...

why dont you just go non-sequential? Will definately eliminate 3k hesitation and only costs about $5 and you can use your stock ecu!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

i have been NS for almost 1 year now, but it only eliminates the 4500rpm transition....not the 3K hesitation....which is electrically or fuel related....

it's spark related, and no amount of extr grounds will help, I tried it all, even grounfing the ecu chassis. Get a Power FC It was the best investment I ever made, besides the car itself!

have none of yall heard the theory of the fuel pump wiring and its realiton to the 3k hesitation.....it was on the other site....across teh *street*?
