200 Mph?

I'm pretty sure it has more to do with your rear end ( final drive ).
Manual FD's have a 4.10
A Auto has a 3.73 i think
So the Auto rear end would be better for top speed
But i dont see why a 4.10 cant hit 200 with enough power behind it.

auto is 3.90
I think there is enough gear stock but good luck with that...
How fast have you been? 165-170 feels like you are in a time warp..

if you do the math, 200mph is something like 8500rpms. my buddy popped hs engine @188....
what blew his engine? bad luck? or is there more stress on it at high speeds?

had mine to about 175 indicated also. I need my *** kicked for that too. There is no reason the car needs to go that fast if not on a track or you're attempting to break the speed record for the FD class or something at Bonneville.
It's kinda scary at that speed. If you are seriously gonna try to break 200 mph.... do some serious investment in some real aerodynamic work. (watch the racing beat video from about 1994-5)
