Ignore the hedding, its 50mm not 2 0mm. LOL

I have a 50mm valve on each side but still the compressor gets surge.

The bovs open but i dont know why i still get surge. Is it perhaps becasue I have them both getting manifold pressure from the same line?

Both are linked by T fitting and then to an outlet under the plenum just infront of the throttle body.

Actualy that may be it. I think being to close to the throtle is making them not open fast enogh. The pressure is droping to quickly. Maybe I should move the line to the 2 outlets that come off the plenum on the turbo side where my boost gauge is hooked up.

If anyone has any idea please let me know.

They are supposed to get the vacuum signal from AFTER the throttle plates.

I have now split the line so that each BOV has its own vacum pressure. The BOV's are 50mm TIAL units. with i think a 12 to 15 psi spring.

They are both venting well now. Very little turbo surge now. Sounds more like a large burst then a smaller 1 right after.

Seems to be sweet.

are you sure its actually compressor surge? with the equivalent of a 100mm BOV, especially with one on either side of the intercooler there should be no way youd get any surge.

Well maybe. It has changed the noise it makes now. It used to have that chechecheche every time you back off now its more like just 1 chshshsh with a tapering off noise when under a low load. High load its just 1 loud pshshsht now.
