A schrader valve is like the one for your tires, isn't it?

Use a compression guage with a hose. Remove the needle(schrader) valve that is in the bottom of the compression guage hose. Not the one just below the guage. Then follow instructions at:

Awesome info, will come in handy when i finish saving for my FD.



A work shop here in Australia said they can also do a water seal test by diagnosing the water in the cooling system and also check the condition of the oil for any bad signs.



Also what exactly does AST stand for so i can explain it to a mechanic.

air seperation tank.



it's the black plastic tank next to the intercooler that has a radiator cap on it.
