my battery has good voltage..brake lights work so i know i have voltage...i turn the key and nothing happens cant hear the fuel pump, windows dont work etc.... checked the alternator wiring and starter wiring...all interior out of car....i have the ecu mounted to the floor....there are three ground wires in the harness that are not grounded i thought they were just for the heater blower and that stuff behind the dash..could this be the problem...or does the ecu have its own ground wire?

double check the main fuse, pop the little plastic cover off and make 100% sure it isnt broken.

or if you have a multi-meter (dvom) meter it for continuity, best way to be sure.

Might be the switch in the steering column. They go bad from time to time. Try turning the key several times over to see if you can get it to catch. Otherwise pilfer one from another car or go to the stealership.
