well i ran into a problem with my 87 turbo II

the exhuast manifold had cracked and we replaced it put everything back on and now the car wont idle and it has a warped exhaust sound to it. any ideas????? if so please lemme know

oh also i forgot to mention it sparks fine and the oil filter is good so is the fuel injection but it wont stay running it runs good cold but dies off no idea why

Make sure the MAF sensor is plugged in, the manifolds are bolt on tight, and you didnt forget any vacuum lines, thats the basic rundown...

im pretty positive all that is hooked up i have to check the vac lines though i know the maf is and the manifold is too... hey where would be a good website to get rx-7 parts cheap ?

Well, the exhaust manifold should not stop the car from running so something else must have happend. Like rotaryman said, make sure to check all vacuum lines and anything else you may have moved or taken off when replacing the manifold.

well ill recheck everything and pipe back in to let you know if it works again it just is really wierd that it just stopped working all of the sudden.....

well here's the deal the vac hoses are fine and attached well still not sure why its not working any other suggestions ?????? anything would be of good use oh also is thier any good rotary mechanics around allen county Ohio ? if soo let me knowp please.

hey where can i get a good diagram of the vacuum hoses or a really good engine guide for my 1987 13b turbo II because im running out of ideas!

thx for the web sites hopefully i can figure something out its just wierd that it doesnt work now since i replaced the manifold and put everything back on something is messed up bad wish i knew what





oh is haynes a good repair manual to use or is thier a better one for the 87-91 gen 2 rx-7's?
