the exhuast manifold had cracked and we replaced it put everything back on and now the car wont idle and it has a warped exhaust sound to it. any ideas????? if so please lemme know

oh also i forgot to mention it sparks fine and the oil filter is good so is the fuel injection but it wont stay running it runs good cold but dies off no idea why https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Make sure the MAF sensor is plugged in, the manifolds are bolt on tight, and you didnt forget any vacuum lines, thats the basic rundown...

im pretty positive all that is hooked up i have to check the vac lines though i know the maf is and the manifold is too... hey where would be a good website to get rx-7 parts cheap ?

Well, the exhaust manifold should not stop the car from running so something else must have happend. Like rotaryman said, make sure to check all vacuum lines and anything else you may have moved or taken off when replacing the manifold.

oh is haynes a good repair manual to use or is thier a better one for the 87-91 gen 2 rx-7's?
