My car is the first vehicle that I have installed a standalone ECU on and I have started to find all of the bugs. First, aparently in the EFI harness is the wiring for the oil pressure gauge from then sender. Is there any way to rewire that back to the gauge, or was it ecu controlled?

My logicon is all kinds of wacked out now. To get the blower to work, you have to position the slider anywhere but off and then turn the headlamp switch to any position but off then back off and the blower then works. You cannot have the blower and the parking/headlights on at the same time. Also, none of the positions work. All of the air still comes out of where ever no matter what position button is activated.

My cooling fan light on my warning cluster is on constantly, and there is an annoying warning buzz (not the same as low coolant, per say) that is similar to the key in ignition buzzer that is always on.

Does anyone have any advice on correcting these issues, or am I just stuck?

What kind of Ecu do you have? On my S4 the wire for the oil guage ran through the stock harness, so you had to cut it out or at least splice the end on a new wire.

Haltech E6K - I just need to know if i can just connect the wire from the sender right to the gauge, or somewhere in the harness, or do i need to get an aftermarket mecahnical gauge? If i have to get an aftermarket gauge, I think I will have to make a custom dash for them all

This is what ive been trying to figure out about my car. I had (have still, but different now) 2 wiring harnesses. One for the water temps, and engine stuff (injectors and TPS, etc) and one harness for all of the timing stuff (CAS and coils). My oil pressure sensor is in the timing harness along with the oil level sensors. When I did my Microtech, my oil pressure sensor worked along with the idiot lights for water level and oil level. You should be fine connecting a wire fron the sender to sensor.

I asked somebody about this before and they had no idea what I was talking about.

glad to see a positive response! I have the pigtail that comes off of the sender still, but am missing the ENTIRE efi harness and stock computer and all that crap. where can I run that wire to so that my oil pressure gauge works properly?

I have a 88 T2, the oil temp, coolant temp and alternator are all on the body harness, the engine harness ran down the passenger side, and the body harness runs down the drivers side. you need to look again at what you are trying to hook up

Stock guages are not that accurate, you might be better off adding aftermarket oil pressure and temp. guages.
