Got That Act Clutch, But
Got my car back with that new act HD-SS setup in it, and I dont know what's wrong, but there is only about 1 inch of engagement at the BOTTOM of the pedal. We bled the lines profusely, but there seems to be no stopping that problem. At the very bottom of the pedal, the clutch does engage all the way, but an inch up and its dead all the way to the top. Is this how it should be? I dont think so, but I could be mistaken. Any input would be appreciated.. Thanks!
In the pedal box, youll see the rod that goes from the clutch pedal through the firewall to the clutch master cylinder. Loosen the jam nut on it, and turn the rod to lengthen it. Adjust it until it becomes tight, and back off a turn or two. The tightness is when the release bearing contacts the pressure plate.
Same goes for the brake pedal if it feels a little spongy, but you have bled it with no improvement.

i put the clutch in and same problem
I have new ss lines, master and slave, and a perfectly bleed system.
Also adjusted pedal play.
it was anoy'n me so bad i made a slave cylinder rod so i could gain a bit more throw on the fork to help.
prolly 2 inches or so off the floor.
