WIRING HARNESS

cleaning up a wiring harness for a swap, trying to get rid of the wires i dont need is there a list somewhere of what to keep and what to yard out to try to keep things neat.

What are you swapping? If you're putting a barrel of gerbils in there, you can get rid of everything!

keep the wires that make the car run, and get rid of the 2 for the rear defroster....





seriously, you need to watch how/what you build for a harness, example; 81-85 rx7 stock rear wiring harness, 3oz. custom rear harness 5lbs...

ECU is a s4 , stock intake, coils, stock everything, but going into a b2000 mazda pickup, would it be best to run the emisions on first start up or can i cut out the emissions first . also do i need to keep the main relay that is hooked to the coils or can i rewire the power to them? also fuel pump relay, do i need to use the stock one or can i go another route?
