I have an 87 TII with a bad harness on the drivers side of the car. I have the opertunity to buy a harness out of an 88 TII are they the same. The engine harnesses are different but are the harnesses for the lights and everything on the driversside the same?

 

can anybody please help me? I don't want to keep the guy waiting long.

 

Should be 99.9% the same. I swap my na for TII back in the days and it was 99% the same. The only difference you might encounter would be the headlights. Early years came with the relay for the motor installed outside. Just have to carry over some stuff from the old harness like these relays if they are needed.
