im not worried about low end, i dont drive it too often so drivability isnt important to me, plus when i do drive it i always redline so power loss at the bottom isnt something i will need much of
Elaborating on what I said earlier, you will lose power EVERYWHERE if you remove the sleeves. No matter what rpm youre at, the turbulence from the port will affect airflow negatively. But the most noticable loss is the low end. The top end wont be much to notice, but like they say, every little bit helps.

And another thing. Without low end torque, you wont be able to launch worth a ****. My 60 ft times went from 2.2 to 2.4 just from wiring the VDI from low to high. My traps were higher with it on wired high, but the ET's were still lower. And that was with non-operational 6 ports. But I did have a nylon piece pushed into the 6 port runners that was angled to smoothly guide the air into the ports. If you really want to remove your 6 port sleeves, let me make you a set of those inserts. You will lose some low end over working 6 ports, but youll have more low end than any other way of non-operational 6 ports.

But I still think workign 6 ports are the best way. When I built this ported motor, I made sure to keep the 6 ports operational. And you know what? My heavily ported motor has more low end than my stock port motor with non-operational 6 ports.

Ive been where you are, and I hope you can learn from my mistakes what works and what doesnt. And dont tell me drivability isnt important. It is ALWAYS important.
