got my Raptor light in, I was going with a Harlan which has dip switches so you dont need any pills, but being that my new

Wolf has shift light output I was able to go with a even smaller LED indicator light that Raptor puts out. Raptor and Harlan both put out ultra compact LED lights that require no additional pills or boxes.



Anyhow Im going to install this right now so when we upgrade the computer in the next week or so Ill be good to go.



You can see how small it is, not even 2" long, and its the diamater of a penny, 3/4"



Bright *** thing too, I went with blue so it would be super noticable even in daylight.

Why the need for a shift light? I always found them annoying and a bit tacky.

it might be my old age, but I would rather keep my eye on the road then the tach, the engine revs so freely its very easy to hit redline.

Now with the newer wolf I will also have ignition cut rev limiter so I will be safe, but the older wolf had fuel cut and thats no good for us.

really smooth, like a factory car would be.

I will post my new tune hopefully next week, but it should be pretty much the same

well the car is off getting its wolf upgrade, also putting a MSD in the car as well.



Here was another winter project that I just drove today for the first time, I put gauges in my coupe.

Just have to figure out if im going to plug up the 2 holes in the panel or put a switch or light there.

The tach on the pillar is also a shift light, all LED red lights come on when its time to shift, and in that car shifting comes real quick

and the factory tach is off at higher RPMs so it was a good addition.

hey rob i was thinking once i get my s4 up and running again i was going to put a few gauges in the spot under the stereo can you give me any advice on what gauges i should run and what brand would be good

thats a personal choice, which also depends on budget. I have run autometer gauges for over 20 years and I never had a problem with them. Considering how many race cars run them I find them to be a nice balance of quality and price.



My autometer, stock, and wolf- all give the same readings in my convertible.



One thing you have to watch when ordering gauges are the sweep, some full sweep gauges are alot more money, have to watch the range, such as some oil gauges only going to 80, or some temp gauges going to 240, etc..



I also choose gauges with the intention of replacing them all down the road, originally I was thinking of a custom panel in place of the stock dash but I think I am off that idea as im liking the stock gauge panel in place. But on my coupe I might change them all out because most of them dont work anymore and so I can go to a digital signal speedo, so when I chose gauges for that car I made sure the other gauges I might need in the future are availible in that particular line and wont break the bank.
