What kind of stuff would make it stop trying to run past 4k? I can rev it up around 3k but after 4k it just wants to die and has nasty backfire.

sounds like a problem with the secondary injectors, until you figure it out i wouldnt try revving it there if its the turbo bc it may detonate. could also be a compression problem

Would the AFM be causing it if its not on? For some reason after I wired it back up It will run without the AFM or the tubing on the front of the turbo with the stock cpu.

I wonder if I could just install a FCD to see if that might be the problem? ANyone have an extra one somewhere?

maybe the afm isnt hooked up right and the ecu is seeing some wierd afm signal?

secondary injectors would be a good guess too

How could I fix that problem though? Also I found the wastegate and blowoff valve are not working and when I disconnected them I got it up at 8k rpms.

Today I changed the fuel filter to see if it went away, but when I disconnected it, fuel kept coming out. I mean I left for an hour and it was still pouring from the line even without power. to keep everyone updated I have the EGR valve,BACV,split air pipe, metering oil pump, and the idle air control valve blocked off, also no rats nest. For some reason I can take everything off the intake side, like the tubing or even the intercooler and it still runs(not good though). I need to find anything that causes this? I need boost!

your gastank was pressurized. Next time before working on your fuel system release the pressure built up in the tank by removing the gascap

I did that and even pushed and held the little flap inside. There was not even any noise and I filled a 1 gallon gas tank to.

Well the wastegate, pressure sensor and bypass valve don't work, and when I held the wastegate open it went up into the high 7k so that might be all.
