My exhaust isn't that bad, but I'm doing the same upgrade since I can't pass aircare with my otherwise pwned stock cats. Plus I need a garage too, god damn Canadian winter. Those shouldn't happen in Vancouver! The car has been flooded and out in the cold for a month and a half now since I can't suffer trying to fix it.
I thought you guys were exempt from gay winter!!! Shows what i know...

how do i make sure the map is calibrated??? and COR??? too many damn acronyms to keep up lol

first you need to check you main engine ground on the back of the block by the slave. you are using the banzai adaptor right? if so look at the insturtions the wire marked COR is a ground for the maf you probly dont have it hooked up or its backwards i had similar problems

yeah, my dumb *** had the ground on the engine not at the trans, but i fixed that before i got it to start on the stock ecu, also found one of my grounds to the engine wasnt tight ( bolt was too long for the hole so i though it had it tightened down on the ground but not so much) but i will double check the COR, i see it says make sure its on the dash harness not the engine harness so ill have to make sure i didnt fudge that up...
but yeah, on topic, my car never really did anything that weird...i had a sweet varying idle once, but then i fixed the vac leak....lol

Mine won't stop surging at idle...
Mine surges on startup and then goes away...I'm renting a garage this winter so I car tear it apart and find out what the problems are!

90 gxl n/a 6-port. mild street port, header, exhaust, cold air and coilovers. oh ya. previous owner removed air pump, aux.port actuators and acv.
rought/jumpy idle below 1000 rpm
wipers dont park and intermittent doesnt work
idle goes weird when warm and clutch is depressed.
seems to run lean until about 6000 rpm
