Wow, nobody noticed that the scoop on the hood is wider and now centered?

I noticed as well, but without a hood to make a mold from, I would have to make one from a stock hood, the amount of time that would go into a hood like that is alot. Why do you think some of these hoods are over $1500?? Another thing is the underside of the hood, alot of work must go into that, some places sell a skin to put on your original hood, and with good reason- it cuts down on a tremendous amount of labor. Same goes for hood pins- it cuts down on a tremendous amount of labor to put a catch mechanism in, the original mechanism is riveted it, maybe I could find a source to get one to rivet in, or people could use the ones from thier original hoods if I cant figure out some other way to do it and do it in a way I feel comfortable about people driving around in. So 13ACE and myself came to the following conclusions: a stock TII hood in glass would be nice, but so far it seems like a cowl induction hood is going to be the way to go.
