Any examples? I was thinking of a fiberglass turbo hood, but to be honest, I dont know if there would be a weight advantage or not versus aluminum. And I guess a cowl induction hood is no good either??
Well, there are always alot of people looking for TII hoods. So I'm sure they would be willing to get a fiberglass version. A used TII hood usually goes for $200-$300.

The Mariah riser hood is supposed to be like a cowl induction hood, but it's more subtle than most:

You're not going to attempt to fix it?

You could go with a "Corvette Summer" theme.

Yeah, those may be tough to fix.

My hood was damaged when I bought it. It had tons of paint on top of it, my body shop guy told me. Looked like someone hit a deer, He was able to fix it and it doesn't look bad. He did a good job, even for the price I paid, free
