One of the vacuum nipples on the firewall side of the upper intake manifold. It just needs to see both boost/vacuum..

the 3 nipples on the UIM That are on the fan side (ie facing straight forward) are for the vacuum spider.

after looking at a vacuum diagram of the s5 TII. It goes to the nipple that is 3rd from the top on the firewall side of the UIM.

I have an 86 na so i think its different from the turbo's just got home from working on the car got my timing down and she idiols at 700- 800 rpm a lil bit of an exhaust leak at the manifold - first cat does anyoen know if i should be using some kind of gasket between the cat and the manifold, also it seems to be overheating i dont have the fan on or the cover even witht he fan on it runs really hot could that be due too the lack of the cover? and the fuel lines kept springing leaks after ever patch i made.....ahhh this car was 200 bucking me to death then it went to 100 then to 20 now down to 10 i hope it stops breaking soon.......

You must have the fan shroud on the fan for it to stay cool. I have ran a vacuum line from a port on the bumper side of the tb for that lower nipple. It doesn't matter. You can cap it if you want to, some have done it to no ill effects. Either way it doesn't matter.. Its just the air bleeds for the primary injectors. Helps with low air speed atomization...

It goes to the throttle body, front (fan) side, there are three nipples, the middle one. The bigger top nipple is for the oil injector, and the bottom nipple is for something else (duh).
