car runs rich from the factory @ idle, taking off cats makes you smell all the extra unburnt fuel, yea its nasty, hope my haltech can clean that **** up.

90w gear oil smells like **** when burned as well a atf fluid...



PP 13B should smell only mildly bad, even with the overlap...

i wired open the 5th and 6th ports because they where non-functional and the same thing is occuring...tear gas exhaust

well that right there might be it because i wired open my ports less then 2 months ago....

but damn

no more sitting idle in public places

the haltech should help a bit but you still have to run rich at idle just because so much of the air/fuel goes right out the exhaust at the low rpm.



increasing your idle rpm would help too.

the lower the rpm the more time it takes for the rotor to pass over the exhaust port, hence longer time of overlap.



so yes, at idle it's the worse, and it needs to dump fuel at idle because so much of it is going out the exhaust, it needs to compensate for the loss by injecting more.



renesis motor will be completely different in this aspect.
