So yesterday I went to the shop were they got my car at to let them know that I wanted my turbo sent out to bnr they had just recieved the motor I bought but then I was informed that after goin over my engine that it turned out that it did not come with stockturbo they told me that it already had a To4b turbo.I didnt even know that when i bought it. I was told that its still good just it little messed up but can be fixed for way less than what i would pay to upgrade a stock turbo. Well now im very puzzled. I was realy excited about getting a stock turbo upgraded to the stage 2 at bnr. But now i realy dont got any info on the To4b other that the one i got its really good. Well i will post some pics. I'd really appreciate any suggestions and info on the To4b turbo and like the diffrencess and benefits of either one. Thanks.

 

I going to say the t04b their rated at 350 to 500 hp and i think its a ball baring

 

a to4b is a great upgrade from a stock turbo, i think HKS sport up grade was a to4e. anyways on a stock port motor the to4b is a great turbo.

Don't forget to get the hp, you have to get a good tune done to the car, or you will blow the motor easily.



Have fun with it though, that's a good turbo for a street car.

 

That is not a full To4B, that is a hybrid turbo...

And a shop couldn't tell this?

 

Yup thats what they told me. So then please explain then what is hybrid turbo? How could you tell?

Is that good or bad?

 

I can see the oem internal w/g actuator in the 2/3rd pictured.

I don't care for hyrbids, if anything is a backwards upgrade..

 

Elliot stop pissin on her parade..hahah save a little cash keep the hybrid turbo a nice boost from the stocker. OR you could ask 1Revven for a good turbo.
