So I take it you rethreaded the knob, and not the shifter, correct? So I just need to find the 12x1.5 drill/tap combo, and go to town on the knob? Sorry, I get so worried when it comes to rethreading stuff. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

I have a Mazdatrix short shifter in my FC and i just bought a Greddy counterweighed shift knob that was use on a WRX.. it goes in 3-4 threads down and stops.. its weird.. I love the knob since its heavy..it makes shifting smoother..

I used a "Z" drill bit and the appropriate tap on the knob, didnt touch the shifter.

Is M12x1.5 even a real size?? I don't see it on the list of taps. Why must something so simple be so difficult...

banzaitoyota 01-27-2005 10:16 AM

12 x 1.50mm
