can some one tell me what this is for , i think it has coolant in it,it is located on the pasenger side on the firewall.It says sub zero on it and something about 90% coolant and it is not full ,do i need to fill this up.

Cold Start System





It's completely USELESS, it was designed to keep the intake from freezing up in approx -40C weather, Mazda later recalled them and said remove it, they don't work, as far as I remember.

FYI the coolant in that bottle is in NO WAY connected to your motor cooling system it's entirely separate.

Nope! None, what-so-ever. It's SUPPOSED to be filled with some methylene concoction, or some ****, but you haven't gotta worry about that.

Actually 90% anti-freeze 10% water





Any anti-freeze has ethylene-glycol in it

My 86 had that. Im not really sure why mazda did it. Just another one of their crack smoking ideas (like the logicon)

yeah they had a perfectly reliable one, that worked. then they decided to make the fc one, that doesnt, why? or like the rx8, i mean you're not supposed to be able to start it, wtf are you thinking?
