Cold Start System
It's completely USELESS, it was designed to keep the intake from freezing up in approx -40C weather, Mazda later recalled them and said remove it, they don't work, as far as I remember. |
FYI the coolant in that bottle is in NO WAY connected to your motor cooling system it's entirely separate.

Mazda stole the idea from the military

so i dont need to worry about that thing being fullor if it works ,thanks for all the replies.

Nope! None, what-so-ever. It's SUPPOSED to be filled with some methylene concoction, or some ****, but you haven't gotta worry about that.

Actually 90% anti-freeze 10% water
Any anti-freeze has ethylene-glycol in it |
My 86 had that. Im not really sure why mazda did it. Just another one of their crack smoking ideas (like the logicon)
|
don't even bother w/it. its the zero degree start i think. I don't even think the canadians even bother w/it.
