Ok, so My car hasn't started in some time... It died while it was running and just never started again. Sounds like it's flooded, but all unflooding attempts have failed. It has spark and fuel. It sputters but never starts.... ANYWAY

So I built the Code checker witht he 2 LED's to see if it had any codes.. (If any sensors were bad) So I checked and it didn't have any. I unplugged the Water Thermo sensor to make sure the tester worked... sure enough it worked fine... it threw a code 3. So I then unplugged my Crank Angle Sensor and checked for a code... it never gave off a code. Isn't this strange? Shouldn't it be throwing a code 1 if this is unplugged? What could this mean? I need some help... electrical stuff isn't my strongest skill.

THanks guys..I know the Rotary Guru's will know the answer to this.

check compression.

also if you have spark, for now, i wouldnt worry about the CAS.

first you need to ensure you have fuel, spark, and compression. with those 3 things definitely intact then you can start looking at other smaller areas.
