hell yea. I was thinking about that same exact spot (i have the same thermostat housing! Thanks alot for the pics and explanation. Thats where mine is going..=)

i just wasnt sure if i put it there if it would have problems with the thermostat itself.

Thanks again for clearing things up.

another thing. Your not running your filter like that are you? if you are WTF is the mass air sensor??? Also wut shot are you juicing? and wut do you have done to your engine. My friend is trying to convince me to get a 50 shot, but i dont wanna blow my engine. heard many horror stories with nos a rotaries.

Yes the Air Filter is a K&N Universal (about $50) which fits right on the end of the factory Mazda hosing with the K&N supplied clamp.

I'm running a Haltech, so the AirFilter along with A LOT of hoses and crap under the manifold have been removed.

I've gotta order a dual pulley for my Alternator still as I have air pump on this motor either.

The NOS runs to 2 Fogger nozzles drilled and tapped into the secondaries.

I ran 2 pieces of tubing wrapped around the tubing to reinforce it all (which you can see here in the pic).

I have 50HP and 70HP jets.

Whats with the bag around the K&N? IC the nozzle on it.... for cold air induction? Wouldn't that restrict it though?

The bag over the filter is just covering the brand new filter. This motor is in a 1990 Suzuki Sidekick... long story, but basically I bought the Suzuki first with a blown motor and needed something to fit the engine bay. A Nissan V6 was one idea, but It looked a little big and being a Rotary fan I knew a 13B would do the trick. Since I wanted the engine, Transmission and all the accessories, I found a great running RX7 with a wrecked body. Thus the project began. The motor fits very nicely. The Suzuki weighs about 2100 lbs, so it should be exciting. After pulling the wiring harness out and telling myself NO WAY... I decided on using the Haltech. I wanted to keep a fuel injected car, But wanted to be able to tune it for my needs. The Haltech was the answer. All I have left to do is wire the fuel pump from the Haltech and 1 radiator hose. The RX7 fuel pump went directly into the Suzuki Sidekick fuel tank. My orginal goal was to double the Suzuki's orginal HP rating, but I know I am way over that. I've just ordered some new wheels last week and am waiting for them to arrive. I still need a full roll cage and limited slip, which I really think are must haves. This should be a 12 second ride.
