I have a question, what i believe is the waterseals in my car.Car constantly gets hot ,have to add coolant once a week.Yes it does blow white smoke at start.Heres the thing,i parked it in the garage for the week, and i see 2 big water spoys under the front of the car.I never could find a leak anywhere. If its the seals, why am i leaking that much water from the front.radiator--no leaks--all hoses no leaks--heatercore hose no leak---what the hell is it?

after shut down it will boil over the coolant onto the ground besides burning it in the engine...... is this on the TII or gxl ?

open the radiator caps when the engine is cold and see if it smells like exhaust.

you should find out where the leak is coming from, it could just be a bad radiator cap

the gxl---i dont see any coming out of the overflow- after shut down--and the rdiator cap is good. What kills me is you can smell coolant but there is nothing wet to be found---can the heater core have anthing to do with it?

the first symptom of a heater core would be a coolant smell inside the car.

dark helmet, yah it makes me laugh too. i think you are gonna have an external leak, like a bad hose or a leaky water pump. you need to pressurize the cooling system and look for leaks, the pressure tester is a common tool

To test it RIGHT: Go get a combustion gas test kit and have the coolant tested, If it is positive, you have blown water seals and need a rebuild. If it is negative then Pressure test the cooling system for a 12/24 hour period to help locate the leak.
