how the hell does the fan affect the balance of the engine any what so ever why doesnt the 3rd gen rx7 have an engine mounted fan yes my keyboard does not have any punctuation keys on it it seems to be a phenomenon lately around here hold on a sec i have to get myself another drink ok i'm back now but i still dont understand if i need to get rid of the electric fans on my 20B engine in my FD can anyone tell me if i need to do this or not i do know that if you mount an electric fan on your tires it will throw the balance of them off maybe something was lost in the translation from puerto rico to here i dont know but i am worried about this happening now but this thread is more about what to do to the car to set it up for drifting than it is about how to balance an engine so i will unhighjack this thread and go make myself another drink

A viscous fan does not always stay in line with the engine anyway you ********. It does not spin at 8200rpm when the engine spins at 8200rpm, it spins however fast the viscous coupling will allow. If it was even rigidly mounted at least the theory would almost wash. What an arsehole.
