This is for my 87 t2

I was wondering if the power line and ground line are the only connections that needed to be connected? I connected these and tried to started the car and it was a no go. But i notice down near the clip that plugs into the top of the walbro, there are two seperate holes. Its a side that says negative and a side that says positive. now im wondering if these are needed to be connected to anything aswell? In my manual it didnt really specify since the manual is made regarding other car applications. So if anyone has any info please help a kid out haha thx.

There's just the two wires with the connector. If you got those wired up good, it must be something else.
