sounds like you had a problem car digital, I havent really heard of

many people's carpet shrinking or the top switch going bad.

The car was probably getting ALOT of water in it, you might be able

to clean the switch

I checked your site, your doing a nice job on that car, its good to

see another one put back on the road and not scrapped for parts

Ok I have to ask, were they sold with a tonneau cover factory or was that an option? I have not seen the car other than this picture, and have no clue if this one has one or not.

couple things.

they all had the toneau cover.

i mention the top motors and hardware, not because they fail a lot (seen it once or twice) but because its amazingly expensive! i think the motors are in the $1000 range

"Problem car" is a massive understatement. Heh. Try rust everywhere, everything breaks, hardly anything properly functioned, and the engine popped of its own accord (very little abuse) after 110k miles. Hopefully when I'm finished she'll be a dream car, not a problem child.

My motor switch is going kinda wacky, but it's old. Othewise, I've had no issues with my vert. DON'T get broken into! Since the verts are pretty rare, things like windows are hard to find and expensive...same if you get smacked in the door or something.
