What are the most common symptoms of vacuum leaks? Any good way to check for them?

No start condition, rough idle, drives like a bag when you hit boost if a TII.

Places to look for vacuum leaks

- TID

-Manifold connections

- vaccum Nipples

-cracked vacuum lines.

edit: to check the areas for vac leaks, spray them with carb cleaner, if the idle changes and surges thats where you have the vac leak.

literally, get some carb cleaner spray it in the suspect area and see if the idle picks up, just be careful not to set the joint on fire.

If you have a good ear you can sometimes hear it as soon as you shut the engine down. Hissing or whistling for about a second.
