Hello all. I have an 88 turbo II and Im new to this board but was wondering if anyone out there would know of any VAC leaks that have a direct impact on boost. My car isnt building any boost, it idle surges about 6-700 rpms and seems to be leaking oil from somewhere underneath. There is a vac hose coming from a seloniod labled PRESSURE going onto the side of the intake manifold. This has a tear in it, but I dont think this is the MAIN problem. The throttle position sensor was changed about a month ago. The car runs like a dog, PLEASE HELP! email me at jamison182@hotmail.com or reply thanks very very much!.

any vacuum leaks will make the t2 not run right, the common spot is the rubber duct between the air filter and the turbo
